Lilium speciosum var. rubrum is one of the last lilies to flower, with flowers sometimes only appearing in late Autumn. The flowers are turks-caps, deep pink and sweetly scented, on stems up to 1.5m tall. The stems usually require some additional support. Grow in a sunny position in a slightly acidic soil.
