Description:
Limonium 'Salt Lake' is an unusual form of sea lavender with a basal rosette of mid-green leaves and purple flowers held on long stems in summer. The plant gets rid of excess salt by forming salt crystals on its leaves which reflect the sun, attracting pollinating insects as well as giving the plant its name. The flowers are particularly attractive to butterflies.
