I loved this garden. It is challenging, and not easy or comfortable, perhaps one of the reasons why it only scored 3.7 on the RHS peoples ranking. The brown and purple planting was new and exotic, and somehow just works. I wonder how this would like if extended across a whole garden - I would be slightly scared to do this, but if it was as executed as well as this was, it could be a true show stopper. Probably one of my favourite gardens of 2011.
