Description:
Monarda 'Gardenview Scarlet' is a vigorous growing perennial with a gorgeous deep red flower head, and delicious fragrance from the leaves, especially on a hot summer's day. Flowers attract plenty attention from bees, butterflies, and other insects, as well as admiring glances from over the neighbour's wall! Grow in groups in a flower border, or in swathes for a prairy style with grasses. A new variety that has a more intense colour than 'Cambridge Scarlet', Monarda 'Gardenveiw Scarlet' has especially large bright red, tufted flowers. It prefers to be kept moist.
