Description:
Salvia uliginosa with its pure, light azure blue flowers grow on tall spikes, on slender, fresh green stems, with lanceolate leaves all the way up to the flower spires. A bushy perennial,up to 2 metres tall, grow in full sun in well-drained soil. uglinosa means 'of swamps and marshes', suggesting that this salvia is perfect for growing near lake and pond edges, streams and rivers or boggy ground.
