Description:
Acer palmatum 'Aoyagi' is a small deciduous tree with bright green maple-like leaves which turn shades of brilliant orange and yellow in autumn. The bark is bright green, adding to the interest of the plant even in winter. It looks especially effective planted next to other acers with colourful winter bark, such as Acer palmatum 'Sango-kaku'.
