Description:
Acer palmatum 'Deshojo'is a small tree with classic maple-shaped leaves. Starting out shrimp pink in spring, the leaves turn green in summer and then scarlet in autumn. It grows best in partial or dappled shade, with protection against wind to prevent leaf scorch. Its diminutive size makes it ideal for smaller gardens or containers.
