Description:

The sweetly scented Viola odorata has been a popular early Spring flower for centuries - and still looks brilliant grown under trees or as something to brighten up the border early in the season. It forms a mat of heart-shaped leaves, covered with small purple, blue or white flowers.

Viola odorata will grow in sun or partial shade, and prefers a moist, well drained soil.
