Description:
A tough, reliable evergreen shrub, Elaeagnus is a popular choice for hedging or a mixed border. The broad dark green leaves with silvery undersides make a good foil for flowering perennials, and in autumn it bears small, fragrant, creamy white flowers in autumn. It is drought resistant, shade-tolerant and copes with coastal winds.
