Description:
Ornithogalum dubium is a bulbous perennial native to South Africa. It flowers in winter and early spring, producing beautiful star-shaped tangerine-orange flowers above mid-green lance-shaped leaves. It needs a sunny spot and a well-drained soil - too much moisture will cause the plant to rot. In the UK it is best planted in a container so that it can be overwintered indoors.
