Description:
Polygonatum x hybridum (previously called Polygonatum multiflorum) is an old cottage garden plant with graceful, arching stems and precisely paired, oval leaves that are bright green and look good even without flowers. In spring, white bells with green tips dangle from the stems followed by black fruits. It works well with ferns in damp, shady areas, and the foliage provides interest through to autumn.
