Description:
Hedera algeriensis 'Gloire de Marengo', or Algerian ivy, have generous sized variegated heart-shaped leaves, with light and dark green colouring, with a creamy white margin. A vigorous, self-climber, use to cover walls or boundary fences. As leaves are variegated, use in a shady corner to brighten the area.

Hedera are evergreen climbing shrubs that use aerial roots to cling, or climb up walls, trees, through other shrubs, and along the ground. Flowers are clusters of yellowy-green, that are highly beneficial to insects, as they flower when other nectar-rich plants are not available in late autumn. Berries are clusters of blue-black, again, a rich food source for birds and other wildlife.
