Description:
Macleaya x kewensis is a tall herbaceous perennial with large lobed grey-green leaves and airy plumes of tiny pink flowers in late summer. A plant for large gardens it grows best in moist, well drained soils and can become invasive on sandy soils. It looks great in prairie planting schemes or as a feature plant in a large sunny border.
